Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Starr Creek Life and any other services operated by Starr Creek Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Starr Creek Life is a web-based household management application that helps individuals and families organize reminders, appointments, schedules, and personal records. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You may not share your account, use another person's account, or create accounts by automated means.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the service without permission
- Use the service in a way that could damage or impair its availability or performance
Subscriptions and payments
Access to the service requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
If a payment fails, we may suspend access to your account until payment is resolved.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@starrcreek.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the service until that date and will not be charged again after cancellation.
We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds and disputes
All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at support@starrcreek.com within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate promptly.
If we are unable to resolve a billing dispute to your satisfaction, you retain the right to dispute the charge with your payment provider or card issuer. We encourage you to contact us first so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue directly.
Your data
You own the data you enter into the service. We do not claim ownership over your personal records, schedules, or other content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. The service is a personal organization tool — it is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Starr Creek Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Starr Creek Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
